User clicks Sheet Name in report, takes them to incorrect row on source sheet
The problem: We built a report that pulls information from 6 other sheets in the workspace. When you click on the source sheet hyperlink in our "Sheet Name" column, the system is supposed to take you to that sheet, as well as to the specific row that the report was referencing.
While this works for myself and most of our admins, it is not working for two people who were just added as Admins to the workspace. When they click on the hyperlink back to the source sheet, the system goes to that sheet but does not go to the specific row - instead, it just goes to the top of the sheet, forcing them to have to scroll and search for the associated row.
Here's what we've tested so far to see if it would fix their issue:
- I had them try the report in the same browser as me, Chrome. She also used the most updated version. It did not work for her, even though it works for me.
- I tried building a new report with the same sheet hyperlink, but that also did not work for her.
- We checked her download speed, and it was 106mbps - so we don't think the page is timing out (although smartsheet did load 20 seconds slower than mine, so that was surprising).
- She is an admin in the workspace for the report and all associated sheets, just like me - so we don't have different permissions.
Any idea of how to fix it so it goes to the correct row for her?

hi @jordangallant,
but the sheet name column just takes to the sheet from where data is taken.
I do not think celllinking is possible in reports.

Hi @kowal I know Sheet Name takes you to where the the data came from, but it should take you to the row in the sheet that is being referenced. For example if my source sheet has 1,000 rows and in my report data from row 657 is displaying in my report, when I click on the Sheet Name column in my report for row 657, it should take me to row 657 in the source sheet. The issue we are seeing is that one of our users clicks it and it doesn't take her to the row 657, it just takes her to the top of the sheet. Does that make sense?

@jordangallant I agree with your normal use case, as my sheets function the same way. I am being advanced to that row of the sheet, when clicking on sheet name.
If there is a parent / child relationship, I have seen it take me to the parent row, instead of the desired child, but in the 5 sheets that I am testing at this moment, I am able to replicate that they are all advancing to the correct row. Unfortunately I am not seeing any areas that I can recommend you to try, but did want to confirm that you are asking for something that does function as you are stating normally.
