Is there a way to create a report that shows all comments for a user?

Hello. One of my team leads would like her notifications to flow to one report rather than weeding through them in the notifications panel. Is there a way to push notifications to a report? Thanks.

There are many different types of notifications that can be configured, so I'd say it's a little difficult to definitively answer this. One issue is that notifications are based on an individual sheet - and sheets can all have different column names, so it could be quite confusing to a user to know what project a specific notification is about, without context. Also, this drills into the question of scalability - if ONE of your team leads wants her specific notifications to go to a report, what's to stop others from requesting the same thing… and then other Smartsheet developers not having access to this theoretical report to add their notifications might result in vital information being missed.

Instead, I recommend the following:

—Help your team lead set up notifications to be sent to her email if she's not done so already, and to set up a subfolder and a rule to route new incoming notifications to that folder, to help her be more organized. You can also educate her about configuring her Notification settings since that's something individual users can manage - this way she can know what she NEEDS to address by establishing the filters herself.

—Change notifications from real-time trigger when possible, and update to a periodic cadence. Depending on how you set up notifications, this would send a summary of items in one email - of course, this is on a per-sheet basis, and not across all sheets.
