Date format on forms

I am on the EU site and importing spreadsheets from Excel. My settings show the correct UK date format but when I set up a form, it takes me back to the US format.

Is there something I need to change?

If you have the proper format in your smartsheet properties DD/MM/YYYY maybe you can check if you Date Format is also in the proper way.
