Request an Update - prevent access to the sheet?

Is there any way to request an update to fields but omit the "Go to Sheet" option on the request notification? We are trying to streamline review input, but don't want every person to see all the data, and therefore input from other people. Using a link to the form doesn't provide for pre-populated information to appear from the sheet like the update request does. Any other solutions I missing? Thanks!

In my organization we are moving away from notifications as we've built Dynamic Views and embedded them into Dashboards.

Users that need to make updates now check their Dashboards (either daily or weekly) and make their updates. Dynamic Views allowed me to restrict view by current user in a specific column, so I didn't need to create 500 DV's, but just 1 for each category of type of user we have. DV's also allowed me to lock cells so only the fields that are needing attention could be edited (also added logic). Dashboards are pretty basic and contain a couple of DV's that users need so they're not navigating all over the place.

Not sure if this fits your specific request, but thought I'd share how we got around access situations.
