How can people view my report of 4 combined sheets without sharing the 4 sheets?

I thought combining the four different sheets into one report would eliminate the need to share all four separately. However, I was just informed that they're unable to see the context of the report, which I’m assuming is because they don’t have access to the other four sheets.

How can they see the context of the report without sharing the 4 sheets?

The operative word to what you're asking is "see."

If users ONLY need to view the data in a report, you can publish it and share that URL. You can manage who might be able to see the info - only people you share the report to, only people in your company, or the whole world.

If users need to interact and edit the data, you can consider adding the report to a WorkApp and ensure that individual users have Editor privileges. Alternately, you can use your report as the basis of a Dynamic View, and share the link to that instead of to the report itself.
