Dashboard metric help

Hello! I need some help with the dashboard metric, I can't get it to be side by side like I had previously done. It's been a while since I've made any updates and I would greatly appreciate some tips! This is what the original looks like:

I'd like to add more names and this is where I'm at with the metric:

How can I get it to be side by side? I tried deleting the "primary column" and I can't get the number to the right of the name. Help please!

Try creating a report. I have replicated some of your data as-is vs showing what a report would look like on a dashboard.

    Hope this helps

    Hi @laura.sandoval,

It looks like your original metric widget was set up using sheet summary data rather than grid data. I tested this and found that I was able to display data in the same format using sheet summary fields.

To do this, you can take the steps below:

    1. In your sheet, create a sheet summary with one field per name.
    2. In each field, type = and then click the relevant cell, so that the sheet summary field will display whatever value is in that cell (this will work even if the cells contain formulas: when the formula updates the value in the cell, it will also update the value in the sheet summary field, since you’ve created a cell reference in the sheet summary field) - see below:
    3. Once all your fields are set up with the cell references, save the sheet, then go to your dashboard (if it’s open in a separate tab, refresh the dashboard).
    4. In the metric widget, change the data source - select your sheet and then “Sheet Summary Data” and either select all fields or check the boxes next to the fields you want to display - see below:
    5. Ensure that “Side-by-Side” is selected as the Layout option, then format your font styles as desired - it should then look similar to your original screenshot, as seen below:

    Does that work for you?
