How to track progress of multiple people who are assigned to one task

Hi,

I have set up "Assigned To" column to allow multiple contacts per cell. For example: There are 5 trainings that 4 people have to complete before moving on to the phase. I would like each of them to check off once they complete each training so the team can see the overall progress for the preparation phase. TIA.
