Why did the "Assign To" list ( defined as a contact) not share with all the users I shared the project with?

can you please elaborate on your problem?

You meant you sent your report to everyone from form the Assigned To column? Could it be that your sheet was restricted and it went only to those people that the sheet was also shared with but those that it has not did not receive it?

In smartsheet when you create workflow for notifications etc. you have automation restrictions to check like restricted, limited and unrestricted. Please check those.

How can i share my contact list? - you mean the the column in the sheet?

when I share the project the contacts list in Assigned to is empty and needs to be updated again for each project user .

That's very odd behaviour of smartsheet and sharing sheet shall not impact on the content of any cell.

Could you please share some screenshots so I will see what's is going on?

@kowal,

You can check the box for "New comments on posts I've participated in", or you could bookmark threads you want to get notifications for and check the box for "New comments on my bookmarked posts".

As you can see when want to update Assigned to in one of the tasks I can see the Drop Dow list with all contacts that I defined for this project(the system autofill the name when I start to type the name, but if the data need to be updated by someone else the contact list is empty. how can I share not only the project but also the contact list assigned to

@Georgie, thanks for the tip I changed my notifications ;)

@Dezi, the problem probably lays that in the Smartsheet Contacts. Every user of Smartsheet needs to build for himself his contact list. On the left bottom corner please go that little person icon then "My Smartshseet Contacts" export your contacts to CSV - send this CSV file to your colleague - tell him/her to go to "My Smartsheet Contacts" and import the CSV you created. Now this new person will also have a dropdown list in the Assigned To field :)
