Why is Export to Project XML active for some projects, but not others?

I've got a requirement to export my project plans to Project XML for a client. This is greyed out for most of my projects, but active for one.

I'm the owner of all of them.

Any idea why it's not available on all of my projects?

Turning on the dependency settings sets it up as a "project" on the back-end. It ensures the correct columns are there and formatted properly which in turn means the appropriate columns can be mapped when exporting to a project file.

Do you have the dependencies turned on in all of the sheets?

Paul - can you clarify what you mean? I don't know what you're asking, "Do I have the dependencies turned on in all the sheets".

If you change the sheet view to Gantt and then click the small cog icon near the top right of the sheet, you are able to manage project dependencies such as durations and predecessors and whatnot. Is that setting the same for all of the sheets?

Paul - Thanks. Yes, they're the same. I checked three projects not owned by me and they could all be exported. I checked a couple of my projects, and they could not. Gantt's were turned off on mine, so as soon as I turned Gantt view on, suddenly export to Project XML was an option.

That is one weird requirement.
