If I have tasks created in my card view that need to reoccur on specific dates/days, is there a way to make that happen?

No.

Not a satisfactory answer, but that's not the full story. If you are willing to get into automation(s), there is a way you can create another sheet with your tasks and then run an automation to copy those tasks over on a cadence, but this solution seems a bit uninspiring because you'll have to create the tasks ahead of time which sort-of defeats the purpose.

The other way is to create an API key (assuming you have access/authority to do so), and link it to a third party integrator platform like make.com, or Zapier, or Power Automate. These platforms provide much better and robust support for what you're looking to do, and just link it back to Smartsheet. Make sure you run this by your cyber-security team(s) if applicable because this won't necessary pass muster in some security minded organizations.
