Conditional Formatting

I would like to have a cell colored if a certain word is entered. This would be for multiple columns within the sheet. Is there a way you can attain that request? To be specific, if any cell contains Approved or Completed, I would like that cell to become green. This would cover all 28 columns that the sheet has. I would rather not have to create a condition in Conditional Formatting for every row and for the 12 colors for the various conditions.

You will need to create separate conditional formatting rules for each column. There are some 3rd party apps / add-ons from independent users that may help with the tedium, but there is nothing built into or distributed by Smartsheet for this other than manual.

You can do conditional formatting for the row if it meets the criteria but for multiple columns under one conditional format is currently not available. Unfortunately, you will need to create multiple conditional formats.
