PDF Text Field Scroll Bar Not Working

Hi,

I converted a word document into a fillable PDF. I set up all the text fields in the PDF so that Scroll Long Text and Multi Line are checked in the properties options. When I type a long paragraph in the PDF where the text overflows the text field box, the scroll bars work as they should, and I can see all the text in the field by scrolling.

However, in Smartsheet when I generate a document and use this same PDF form for mapping, in the PDF document Smartsheet generates the scroll bars don't exist and the text just fills up the page past the text field box.

Has anybody run into this problem? Is there a solution for this or some setting I am missing?

hi @Jay Bridgforth,

yeah the Document Builder is more static so the generated document fields cannot be scrolled.

I would make them bigger so the entire text would fill.

also a trick there is a free tool called sejda.com and you can generate pdf with fillable fields directly there.
