400 Column Limit

We have a sheet (New) with many columns (300+) that we have been moving items when they reach a certain criteria to a new sheet (comparables). The problem that we are running into is that the comparable sheet where the data is moved is not hitting the 400 column limitation.

This is probably due to renaming columns and addition of new columns. How can continue to move the "New" data to the comparables sheet? Is there a way to not move certain columns or select the columns that need to be moved? Please let me know.

The premium add-on Data Mesh can be used to COPY only specific cells between sheets, that is the closest solution I am aware of.
