Resource Management report using wrong bill rates

Hi there - I have specific bill rates set for each team member through the team member's RM profile. But when I run a time and fees report in Resource Management, it is using the account default for each person instead. How can I make it use the individual bill rates?

Hi @Sarah541,
Were the individual bill rates set for users after projects were created in Resource Management? If so, rates aren’t automatically updated for those existing projects and the old (or default) bill rates will be used. Therefore if your report is for projects that existed before the bill rates were set for individuals, the report will use the old/default bill rates.
Any new projects will use the new bill rates that you’ve set. Take a look here for more information: Set up bill rates.
If you’re finding that reports are using the account default bill rates for new projects, I’d recommend opening a Support ticket so that the team can investigate further.
Hope that helps!

Thanks Georgie - Are you aware of a more efficient way to fix this other than deleting all the projects I already have in there and re-adding them?

Hi @Sarah541,
Unfortunately there’s no more efficient way to change this within Resource Management - I’d recommend adding your vote on this idea: Switching/Resetting/Retrofitting to Default Bill Rates in Resource Manager. You’ll then receive updates when the status of the idea changes!
There is, however, an API endpoint that allows you to change project bill rates - you can take a look here if you want to dive further into this option.
Hope that helps!
