Sending Alert Email based on Contact Column without sharing sheet
I would like to create an Automation to send an email regularly to recipients that are in a Contact column based on some criteria. After setting up the Alert Email it says that I must share the sheet with these people in order for them to receive it. The email contains no information from the sheet other than getting their contact information. How do I get around having to share the sheet in order to get this to work?

Easy peasy lemon squeezy. :) Sounds like you just need to change the Automation permissions for the sheet. Choose Automation> Manage automation workflows… to open the screen showing your saved automations workflows. Click the little gear icon in the top right, which will open a popup allowing you to change the level of automation permissions - Restricted, Limited, or Unrestricted. If you don't want to share the sheet, minimize confusion by ensuring the automation doesn't share a link to the sheet. (People will click every link sometimes; why, I just don't know.) Good luck!
