Auto delete rows flagged as duplicate or missing

I have a 2-part question: Setup - we use a master sheet that uses data mesh to populate 3 other sheets based on a primary key. This works well. However, there is alot of manual cleanup.

part 1 - If a row is deleted from the main sheet, I would like it removed from the other 3 vs. me highlighting it for manual deletion, an auto-delete via formula?

part 2 - If there is a duplicate in the main sheet, I don't want it added via Datamesh. Can a filter be added to Datamesh to ignore rows based on a set of criteria?

You can set up a formula in a flag type column to flag all duplicate/missing rows. Keeping it in the core Smartsheet product would mean setting up a daily Move Row automation to move the row(s) to another sheet which you could then just mass delete on a regular basis. If you leverage the API or the premium add-on Bridge, you can automatically delete rows based on triggers/conditions without manual intervention.

How does one do this? - I noticed there is limited automation that will move a row, if I do this will it delete it from the main sheet? Seems odd there is no automation to delete a row?

It will move it from the source sheet to a target sheet. The row will still exist, but it will exist somewhere else. Only the API, the premium add-on Bridge, or other similar third party apps can truly delete rows based on a trigger.

Paul, the row is not moving as it is a trigger event, not a matches event - if a column is 0, move it, not if it changes to 0, so it does zero. What am I doing wrong as it looks simple enough?

How is your automation set up? Can you provide screenshots?

This is it - the sheet it is moving to is identical so all columns are the same - the will change to 1 when a duplicate is detected.

I'm confused. I a previous statement you were talking about moving zeros but there is no change to trigger from, but in the last screenshot, your trigger is set to move when it changes to 1. How exactly are you expecting this to work?
