How to sort on a column where cells are hyperlinked?

I have a sheet and the primary column cells are hyperlinked to specific SharePoint documents. It works well for use with Dynamic View, etc. However, when trying to sort by this column it sorts by the "link to URL" address rather than the "display text". Sort is based on "https…." Is it possible to sort by display text?

I tested this using three hyperlinks with different display texts and URLs:

1. Display text: A pdf of How to sort on a column where cells are hyperlinked
   URL: https://kuripan-my.sharepoint.com/...
2. Display text: cloudsmart llc
   URL: https://cloudsmart.jp/en/
3. Display text: How to sort on a column where cells are hyperlinked
   URL: https://community.smartsheet.com/...

When I sorted the column in Smartsheet, the order was based on the display text, not the URL — just like you'd expect in a regular text column:

1. A pdf of...
2. cloudsmart llc
3. How to sort...
