Go-Live Playbook Template

I was looking for a template for actual golive for technology project implementations which would have start and end times along with dates in it. Anyone have one they are willing to share or know of something? Thanks!

are you talking about some Go/NoGo kind of template?

Go/NoGo would be a line item in the playbook at various points. I'm talking about specific tasks that must be performed to implement a technology project which would occur after UAT signoff is complete. Typically tasks that happen 1-2 days prior to GoLive, GoLive itself and production validation. Thanks.

Have you tried searching for “project” or “milestone” in the template gallery? I found the following sets which might be a good starting point for you:

• Project Tracking and Rollup
• Project Schedule Management
• Project with Work Breakdown Schedule (WBS)

I also found this Project Launch Plan template that might help.

Milestones are actions that marks a significant stage in your sheet - so you could mark your “GoLive” rows with a duration of ‘0’ to make them milestones. See this article for more information: Create a milestone in your sheet.

Thanks - I'm using milestones already in my plan. I was more looking for something that allows easy input of an hour/minute format of when a task would occur and estimated duration for the task in the format of how many hours and minutes then recording start and actual and calculating the diff without doing all these hidden helper columns. I've just simplified my sheet to make it work. Thanks.
