Summary Report for multiple fields on one sheet
I need to create a Summary Report for multiple fields on one sheet. I am successful in getting the COUNTIF statement to work on one of the columns, but when I add fields for a different column, the count is not rendering the correct results. I am using this formula for the Overall Health functions -
=COUNTIF([Overall Health]:[Overall Health], "Yellow")
Any assistance on what I am doing wrong is appreciated!

Are you able to double click on the column and change it to Symbols?

Hi - it is
=COUNTIF([Overall Health]:[Overall Health], "Yellow")
I have one for each of the 3 colors.

For the Status fields, this is the formula which is working correctly.
=COUNTIF(Status:Status, "In Progress")

no formula - it is pulling the status field in Jira. This whole sheet comes from a Jira | SS Connector

Are you able to double click to see what inside the cell? Normally in Smartsheet you get either the symbol or the text, in your sheet I see both. This might be what is causing the issue.
On my sheet I used
=COUNTIF(Health1:Health10, "Green")
And under my Health column I have them name "Green" and the column Type is Symbols.

Hmmm - I see what you are saying. When I double click in the cell, nothing comes up. And these are the dropdown fields.

I just changed it to symbols but the data is still coming in with the color and the text, so it is still not rendering the correct count unfortunately. Unless - do I need to change the COUNTIF structure? Sorry - this is my first time with the summary fields and I am not a coder.
-
Wait - I just manually changed the data in that column by manually selecting the symbol and it worked! Thank you so much!
