Why is the font different colors in my Dynamic View?
Hi, this is breaking my head and I don't know how to fix it. Some text in my Dynamic View lighter, and only on the date column. In my source sheet, I have the same font, size, and color all across, so I don't know what is causing this.
I have another Dynamic View that pulls from a different sheet and in this view, ALL the text is this gray-ish color, but in the main sheet, again, the text is the same format all across.
Any help please?

@Paul Newcome Hi, I figured it out!!
The source sheet for the DV with the issue, that data was imported from Excel. I think the black default text color from Excel did not match the default black in Smartsheet. So my DV was picking up that black text like additional formatting. This is why the black color in the DV would only appear when I hit the "show/hide formatting". The gray color is the default.
So, to fix it, I went back to my source sheet, selected the whole thing and changed the color to "automatic". problem solved!

Is it possible those cells (in the source data) contain a formula or have the row or column locked? Are you able to edit those dates?

I didn't realize it was changing when you hit the show/hide formatting button. That makes sense. Glad you were able to get it figured out.

Me neither, LOL!! I thought I was looking at the default color, then I clicked that formatting thing and went "Ooooohhhhh" 😂. When I uploaded the Excel file, SS picked up the font dolor as this black, instead of the "Automatic" black. Nice little detail to know for future use.
