Dynamic View on metrics widget in Dashboard
I have a dashboard that is using a Metrics Widget to display summary data. I want users to only see the summary data for their region. What is the best solution to achieve this? Is Dynamic View a solution?
The Chart Widget has "Viewer Mode" where I can select "Their own perspective" which will achieve this, but the Metrics Widget does not have this option.

hi @Christopher S,
When you built the the Metrics Widget and Chart Widgets probably you have noticed that Chart Widgets are more dynamic… same as Report Widget - as in the last two you can choose dynamically to whom the rows are assigned you can also setup for them to use the Viewer Mode so show only stuff assigned to the person who is opening the Dashboard.
However with Metric Data the stuff more Static and and Dashboard will not recognise who Opened the Dashboard to change data in the sheet from which Metric is taken from.
That's how it works.

You would need to create separate dashboards for each region.

@kowal That helps—thanks for the insight on the Metrics Widget. I'll modify to the Charts Widget and set it so that it dynamically reflects the user's assigned data.
