Tasks that would’ve typically required our App Services team are now completely manageable within Smartsheet thanks to its versatile toolset—no-code automations, real-time reporting, and integrations that just work.

So many ways to flow… and to so many, connecting the dots to get started is difficult; but once they "see it"… it's a snowball. I've used Smartsheet to flow SO many various processes that people assumed were disconnected from the next process into one large flow. One of my favorite use cases of flow was where an org that used forms to submit time cards through to payroll etc. was taking the finance team approx. 40-50 hours a week to process payroll (even with Smartsheet). With adding Workapps, data shuttle, data mesh, control center and some detailed thought, we combined everything from a technically challenged person in the field logging time on a form, all the way through payroll and into direct deposits with only about 15-45 mins a week by the finance team. Obviously that's a super summarized version, but that's also the power of real flow. A lot can happen in a simple summary.

Smartsheet is such a great tool to streamline, automate, and connect people across my organization. It is really a time-saver when I think about trying to chase people down with updates. There are so many possibilities to simplify workflows and make work more efficient! Dashboards in particular are a great way bring information into a useable format that anyone can easily access.

Being able to build and help others learn to create end to end process flows and integrate workflows to decrease the risk of human intervention through automation is always eye opening.

I also love that Smartsheet is transitioning to a more format friendly and customizable platform makes the tool better received and to advocate for. People know spreadsheets, but capabilities were missing they could use in spreadsheet tools such as Excel or Google Sheets, so it was frustrating for some users.

Here we are starting using smartsheet to help collaboration between departments. While we are world leader in our own domain, we openly lack in intern collaboration and "Breaking Down Silos" We think Smartsheet will be the key to sucess and I'm happy to contribute to our change of culture.
