Form that can perform math

Hello - I would like to use Smartsheet to collect resourcing information. Specifically, I would like to send a form once a month to each employee, and ask them to specify the percentage of time spent on each project they work on. For example employee 1 would enter Project 1 0.5, Project 2, 0.3 Project 3 0.2. The percentages need to add up to 1.00. I am looking for a form application that can show a total at the top, so the employee knows when they have reached 1.00. This needs to be on the form. Also, it would be good if the used can add additional boxes for entry - so they could add additional projects as needed. I would need these to go to the same column in Smartsheet - all projects into the project column, percentage of time in the effort column, etc. Does anyone know of a form app that can do this. Obviously this is beyond what the basic Smartsheet form can do. Thanks!

I would go with typical Request for Update so instead on the top for 100% you would have the sum on the left… each person can add their own % to the same line.

@kowal Thank you for response. I have tried the request for update - and it is not really suitable for several reasons. Again, I would really like a form that can work - show the progress towards 1.0 (with a graphic would be great) and can add as many sets of fields as are necessary. Any other suggestions? Thanks

hi @TCJ,

the forms are only adding new rows and they cannot edit any existing data in the sheet.
