New Users missing sheets and dashboards

I have many new users who have items missing from either the Workspace or the Sheets locations in their Browse menu, causing my team to create work arounds to get the URLs to the users. All of the affected users are shared via security groups. Has anyone experienced this before or know of a way to fix this?

this is not a typical behaviour of smartsheet.
are those people not removed from the groups?

Hello Kowal,
No, both instances I have done troubleshooting for so far have all been in the groups and so access is provided, but the items are not showing in their Browse menu. I have another users I will be troubleshooting with in the near future. I have a feeling the items are not showing because the users are in the security groups and plan to test that, but right now I am stumped.

but what is security group? if permissions are at least view they should see the items.

Yes, the security groups have Viewer and above.

well if the items are shared with groups and people are in the groups the should see items by 100% in that case I would open ticket with Support.
