Record a Date and Request an Update Actions in Same Automated Workflow

I am creating a Request an Update automated workflow that includes recording the date in a column in my sheet to document when the request was sent. The update request is sent, but the date isn't recorded in the sheet. I've tried more than once to trigger the request on different rows, and the date isn't recorded any time.

Is there something I need to change?

I have recreated in a grid and it would appear to be generating the update request and adding the date the request was sent. Is it maybe worth putting a help ticket in with the support team?
