Smartsheet Duplicating Generated Attachments with Same File Name

Hi all, in our work processes, we put SS generated documents through approvals and regenerate it as signatures are added. Historically this has just updated versions of the same document which is what we want, however, recently SS has begun attaching them as separate documents altogether even though the file name never changes in the approval process. Any thoughts? Could this be a bug from the recent SS update?

hi @sophiar,

if it was always working and without any major change it started making duplicates instead of new versions I think smartsheet must have changed something. Name of the attachment does not matter you can have multiple attachments as the same name and they will be separate or you can have many versions of the same file with different names. I would contact support for that.
