Dashboard Rich Text Widget Excessive Vertical Scroll Bar

Is anyone else's rich text widget have excessive amount of vertical scroll bar action? My OCD always tries to prevent users having to scroll vertically. I have used Smartsheet for over 7 years and never had such excessive white space in my widgets despite trying to expand the widget that should definitely prevent vertical scrolling. Does anyone have any reason this would be happening or solution on how to prevent this?

in my Rich Text Widgets I only have vertical scrolling if there is a lot of text or some empty space under the text. If all the text is visible in the field the scrolling option disappears.

@kowal how many lines of text do you have in your rich text widgets?
If I only have a few lines, the issue doesn't occur. It works perfectly with no additional white space under the text and no vertical scroll bar. But when I get to about 4-5 rows of text the issue arises. I have one that is only 5 rows of text and 2 empty lines between statements and the white space below the last text line is about the same size all the 7 lines of the entire paragraph. It's as if there is more than 4 text lines, it doubles the side by add the same amount of white space below the text even if when I go to edit the widget, those lines of white space is not visible. This is so frustrating! π

@kowal I make the widget large enough as well. I always have and it has always worked before, but I am not getting the same results this time. I'll have to open yet another support ticket.

No. When I am in edit mode, I've try to put the curser below the last text line in the widget it doesn't go anywhere below that last text line and there is no vertical scroll bar. It only happens when I increase the # of text lines. If I stick to 3 sometimes 4 lines it is fine - no additional space and no vertical scroll bar.

Ok I just wanted to test it and I agree with you despite the widget is big enough to show entire text it still is able to be scrolled.
This is sth new defenitely a bug so I would recommend to open support ticket for it.
