Permission settings error when trying to access sheets created from a template

I'm trying to create project sheets from a template that I created in a workspace that I also created, but when I try to access the sheet I'm getting an error message that says that I don't have access to the sheet or it's been deleted. After about 10 minutes it tells me that I need to request access, which I do, and then grant to myself, but this step seems a little unnecessary. Is there a way to access sheets created by the template without having to grant myself permission to my own content that I created?

@kvandenberg Yes… it's another annoying Smartsheet issue that's been going on for a while.

I'm unsure if this has officially been acknowledged, but I see the same thing intermittently for months. Give it a little time and you'll see the new assets you created…..
