Control Center: Intake sheet as one of the blueprint summary sheets?

@Genevieve P.
Is it possible to have the Intake sheet as one of the blueprint summary sheets? I have a Project Management solution set up in Control centre. After the project schedules are populated I wish to capture the start date on row 15 and the end date on row 25 in my summary sheet. I have been successful in getting this to work with a dedicated summary worksheet, but when I select the intake as the summary sheet the data will not flow back through. What am I doing wrong? -
Hi @PeggyLang,
It sounds like your start and end dates might be setup within your profile data in your blueprint summary sheet, and the data is likely coming in from the intake sheet.
If you’re looking to link data from a project sheet back to the intake sheet, you can do so by setting up an intake summary within the blueprint, but this will only work for fields where the data is not already linked in to project sheets from the intake sheet. You can find out more about intake summary sheets here.
There may be other issues causing the problem, so I would recommend either opening a Support ticket or, if you’re eligible, booking a Pro Desk session for 1-to-1 or small group guidance from an expert in this area.
Hope that helps!
Georgie

@Georgie Thank you for the response! I have been struggling and researching this for over a day now. I do have a Pro Desk session booked for tomorrow morning.
There are a few things I'm struggling with. Of note, my blueprint is working; Actual Start and Actual End dates are flowing back from Project Plans to the Intake.I have built the solution and am now passing it off to a team member who will own it. So the blueprint needs to be re-created in his control centre environment.
We discovered yesterday that when creating a blueprint in his environment he is offered the option of standalone or tiered, whereas I don't have those options. As well, we are unable to set up the Intake Summary in the same manner as I have set up. Further perplexing is if I try to recreate the exact same blueprint from scratch on my end I am NOT ABLE to set up the Intake Summary the same as is in the current blueprint.So . . . Very confused.
I want/need the 'actual start date' to flow back from individual project plans to the intake.
I have pulled it into the MetaData Worksheet by way of a link.
When I try to 'Customize Profile Data' something doesn't seem right. I have the MetaData Worksheet selected. The options under 'Target Column' are actually columns from my Project Plan template;
That is the first confusing part; I was expecting to see the profile data from the MetaData Sheet
The next confusing issue is the 'Intake Summary'
The only options available are some of the columns from the Intake sheet which HAVE NOT be selected as profile data. I had anticipated that the selections would have been identified Profile Data from MetaData Worksheet.
I don't know how I was able to add 'Actual End Date' and 'Actual Start Date'. If I delete them I can't get them back in there. -
This has been resolved. I had an amazing Pro Desk session earlier this morning and worked through the issue as well as learned SO MUCH! Thank you Dom!!!
