Generate Documents - Link Expiration

Hello!
I'm new to using the Generate Documents feature in Smartsheet. I've created an automation that will send email notifications to users in a row, with the email containing an attachment link for them to download the generated PDF. Does anyone know how long the link in the automated communication is valid for? The test email I made was on April 18th. When I click on it now, it says the link has expired.
Thank you!

Hello @jindaf
Found this article:
"The link in the email expires in 30 days or after it's been clicked 100 times (whichever comes first). This prevents unlimited access to sent files. If needed, you can re-send the attachment--this generates an email with a new link to the attachment."

Thank you @Victoria_Indimar! What if it's a document that is made via Generate Documents? I have it set up where when a document is added to a row (document is generated then added to row), the automation will send an email to a contact in the row that the attachment has been added. Does that 30-day rule still apply? For the email I have, the link is from 12 days ago and it says it's expired. Thank you so much for your help! I really appreciate it.

Yes, it would apply to those as well.
I have the same scenario you describe - I did a Generate Documents on 4/18 and clicked on the link and it's still available for me. Is it possible that the linked document you sent via email was clicked on 100+ times? That is the other limitation with that document link (whichever comes first).
