Hello,

Are there way to add, use image in the FORM? I am the FORM owner. Try to make the form more visual attention than text reading. Any tips welcome. Thank you.

    Hi @JinwonK

Yes, there are a few ways to include images with your Smartsheet form to help guide users.

Method 1: Use a Smartsheet Dashboard
Smartsheet Forms don’t support images inside the form fields, but you can use a dashboard to add visual context.

    • Create a dashboard.
    • Add image widgets that relate to your form questions.
    • Add your form to the dashboard using a Web Content widget (use the published form link).
    • Share the dashboard URL instead of the form β€” users will see the images and the form together.

Method 2: Use Google Forms + Smartsheet for Google Forms Add-on
Google Forms supports images directly in questions and choices.

    • Build your form in Google Forms with images.
    • Use the Smartsheet for Google Forms add-on to send responses into Smartsheet.
    • This gives you a more visual form while keeping your data in Smartsheet.

Method 3: Use the Form’s Format Background Section
Smartsheet Forms allow you to add an image at the top of the form via the format panel.

    • In the Form Builder, open the Format panel (paint roller icon).
    • Under the Header image or Background, upload your image.
    • This image will appear at the top of the form and can provide helpful context or branding.

Note: Method 3 only supports a single image at the top, not throughout the form body.
