How to add contacts in bulk in Contact List - Restrict list to values only

Hi there,

I'm working on building a request form for my team. I'd like to add all 85 members as contacts in the Contact List field, and Restrict to list values only.

How can do this in bulk without having to manually type out/select each name in the Add contacts lookup? Help?!

    Hi @TheSloppyJoe,

After doing some testing on this (not sure you can bulk add like you're trying to), I think I may have discovered a rudimentary workaround for you. I would suggest making Column Type: Dropdown list, and copy/pasting your list of email addresses ONLY into the text field offered in the column properties (as if they will be dropdown options). For good measure, select OK as if finalizing the column setup, then re-open the column properties and change Column Type: Contact List. This will convert your emails into Contact options, BUT they won't be associated with the specific user like when you select them individually. All said, it should work though.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks @MedaUser for the quick reply. I'll give it a shot. Although, given our security settings, I'm not sure having them as non-user contacts will do the trick :(

I believe you can make a contact column and paste all the contacts in the column then convert to restrict list and delete the contacts. Not 100% as haven't tested it but theoretically it should work.
