Issues with sharing - email address is cleared and item isn't shared

I have a new workspace and have granted some colleagues the “Editor – Can Share” permission. As an admin, I can paste email addresses directly to grant access. However, my colleagues with the "Editor – Can Share" permission can only type in email addresses manually. Sometimes, after they finish typing an email and click "Share," the input field is cleared and nothing happens.

I have tested this on my end and wasn’t able to reproduce the behaviour. That is, even when I have Editor-Can Share permission on a sheet or workspace, I’m able to copy and paste email addresses into the box on the Share sheet/Share workspace window, or type them manually, and clicking Share shares the item to that user, just like it does when I am the owner of the sheet/workspace. This is true even when the email address is not already saved in My Smartsheet Contacts.
This therefore seems to be unexpected behaviour, so I’d recommend opening a Support ticket so that the team can investigate the behaviour seen by the affected users and communicate with you/the users via private channels.
