Is there a way to share a report and only allow users to edit in the dynamic view?
I need to share a report externally with one of my suppliers, but the file is a part of our larger portfolio of projects that I would prefer not to allow them access to. I have created a dynamic view of the report but want to make sure that if I share the dynamic view they will not somehow be able to access the information in the folder? It is a report of 5 of their project timeline sheets so they can get updates and update their assigned tasks as time goes on. Please let me know if there is something I need to do differently or if this should work fine if I email them the dynamic view link.

Hi @ocak, what you're doing is correct.
Your dynamic view will let them see the data that you've shared with them in the dynamic view, but it won't allow them to access the underlying information. This is the main benefit of dynamic view.
If you want more peace of mind, you can try sharing the dynamic view with a coworker and verify that they can access the data in the dynamic view, but can't access the underlying data.

@ocak No you shouldn't need to share the underlying report. This way your dynamic view hides the underlying data from the viewers.
