Has anyone used the Project intake form to get a project approved, if approved, then using workflow send a second intake form if a project manager is requested?

Thank you

Hi @RKMACK, this is definitely possible.

Is the second intake form supposed to be sent to the person who filled out the first intake form? Or is it supposed to be sent to the project manager?

If it's supposed to be sent to the person who filled out the first intake form, then you need a Contact column, and the form must ask them to fill out their contact information for that column. This way, you know who to send the second intake form to.

If it's supposed to be sent to the project manager, then you must have a Contact column that will contain the name of the project manager who the form will be sent to.

    For example:

Once you have the Contact column, then you can create an automation like this:

    I hope that this helps!

    Hi,

I hope you're well and safe!

I recommend starting with the process using the form and then continuing with the update request feature.

    Make sense?

    Would that work/help?

    I hope that helps!

Be safe, and have a fantastic day!

  • Thanks, the goal is to have our executives approve the project and then have them approve a PM resource to be assigned. We are small so my thought was to give the Executive team 3 options, 1 PM assigned, PM to provide SME resources to assist and no project manager assigned.

The issue we have is more work than resources (like every other organization), the executives want to make sure they are prioritizing my work.
