How do I count if the word Attended has appeared in a row

I need to be able to count if someone has the word Attend appear in 1 of the columns after their name. If it appears 1 time it counts as one, if it appears more than once it still counts as 1.

Try something like this. (Replace the column names to match yours)

=IF(COUNTIFS([Column 001]@row:[Column 002]@row, "Attended") > 0, 1)

User error, I put the formula in a Summary field not in an actual row.

Formula works perfectly.
