Live Updates on separate sheet

Hi all,

I have created a simple sheet for many people to edit progress through one job (one row). I want to take timestamps when a dropdown is "complete" and then report it to another sheet. The idea is to have a bunch of data in this secondary sheet and the primary sheet is just simple for anyone to follow.

Can smartsheets report live data from one sheet to another and be "linked"?

Is this architecture able to be done in smartsheets?
