Viewing a Dashboard

Does a person have to have View access to the underlying reports to view a Dashboard? I have granted View access to just the Dashboard and it never appears in the Home screen.

You can just share the dashboard as viewer but check the setting for your dashboard.

I prefer to publish the dashboard and then send the link to people that need it as it reduces the number of memerships I have to pay for if they just want to see the data.

The default seems to be for users on same plan so if you want it to be more flexible then select the top one - the same as I do here

It also means you don't have to keep maintaining the share as people change jobs etc. they can just pass on the link etc.
