Automations Inactive - Still Sending Alerts

Options

We have a sandbox sheet duplicated from a live sheet for 6 months now.

The automations on the sandbox sheet are 'inactive' as we don't want any alerts being sent out while we run testing.

However, just recently, email alerts have been sent from the sandbox sheet to the contacts and we know this for sure because the link in the email go to our Sandbox sheet. HOW IS THIS HAPPENING AND HOW DO WE STOP IT?

    You may want to check the following:

    • Review the last run time of the inactive alert workflow (screenshot below) to see if it aligns with the timestamp of the alert email that was sentto the contacts

    • Check Activity log to see if the alert automation may have been accidentally re-enabled
