Hello all - I have a few questions related to accessing a page I've created in Dynamic View.

When users attempt to access the page, some of them are receiving the message below:

image.png

The owner is a sys admin located in a different part of our organization.

  1. Is there a way to change who the request to join goes to?
  2. Do they really need to join if it's just to access Dynamic View?
  3. Is there a way to take them directly to the view using the link without this appearing?

Any advice or tips for making this smoother and easy for our teams to access are welcome. We have roughly 200 users accessing the view. Some have Smartsheet licenses and others don't. The process for accessing the view appears to change from person to person.

Thanks!

    @Andrea Mayer

    1. I don't believe so
    2. Normally no, as long as they have a Smartsheet account associated with the email you shared it to. Only issue would be if there are any enterprise level controls that you HAVE to be part of the org to see. I'm unsure about if there is an option to limit it that way, but it's a possiblity
    3. I don't believe so

    What's happening is that when someone at your company logs in that hasn't associated their company email account with your company's Smartsheet account, it's showing that message.

    Darren - thank you for your response!

    So am I understanding correctly that if I have given their email address access, they should be able to access? But it will make them create a login with that email?

    @Andrea Mayer correct they will need a Smartsheet account linked to that email.

    Again, unless there's some other security control that might be in place that would prevent it that I'm not aware of.
