Is there really no way to convert a proof back into a PDF without yet ANOTHER workaround?

We have to manually download the file, delete the proof, then re-upload the file?

After testing, I can confirm that there isn’t currently a direct way to convert an existing proof back into a PDF. Typically, the file retains its original format when downloaded. If you're looking to submit a new version as a standard file instead of a proof, the workaround you mentioned, downloading, deleting, and re-uploading, is the current method.

That said, this sounds like a useful improvement. I’d encourage you to submit it as a feature request in the Smartsheet Product Feedback and Ideas topic so the Product team can review it.
