Is there a way to export a Form as a PDF?

Options

Hi,

I've set up a form, and can easily share a link. But, I'd also like to save this as a PDF (or similar). It doesn't need to function or collect any data, I'd just like to show what the form looks like.

Taking a screenshot isn't ideal, as one form is longer and would require several shots pieced together. What's the best option? Thanks in advance!

    Hi @RoxyWIL!

At the moment, there isn’t a direct way within Smartsheet to export a form as a PDF, but that’s a great idea! I encourage you to post it in the Smartsheet Product Feedback and Ideas topic so the Product team can take it into consideration for future updates.

In the meantime, a common workaround is using your browser’s built-in “Save as PDF” functionality:

    • Go to your sheet and open the Forms panel.
    • Click “Manage Forms” and then open the form in a new tab.

    • Once the form is open in its own tab, press Ctrl + P (or Cmd + P on Mac).
    • In the print window that pops up, change the Destination to “Save as PDF.”

    • Adjust the layout or margins if needed, then click Save.

This will allow you to generate a clean PDF of your form without stitching screenshots together. I’ve attached screenshots to show how that looks in Chrome.

Let me know if that helps!

    Cheers,
    Isaac.
