Users Shared to Workspace Show as Needs Access

We recently updated a template that spans multiple workspaces. The old data was copied to the new grid in a workspace that was not shared and then moved to the workspace with team sharing. When going to tag someone in a comment, the "Someone needs access" error message pops up even though they are already shared to the workspace containing the grid. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Sam

I want to close the conversation here, if this happens to you, open a ticket. I worked with Smartsheet reps today and they got it fixed quickly. They said it happens sometimes and they can fix it when it does. Open a support ticket and have them help you!

@L3ph7Y were you able to resolve this? I am having the SAME issue.

Hi @L3ph7Y and @Michele Rosenberg ,
That sounds like unexpected behaviour - if you haven’t already, I’d recommend logging out and back in and trying to use the @mention feature in comments again. If the issue persists and you’ve confirmed the email address you’re tagging matches one that’s shared to the sheet, please open a support ticket to have the team investigate.
Thanks,
Georgie

I tried logging out and back in. We have opened a support ticket and waiting on the response.
