Automated Form Number Check does not allow Comma (,) as a decimal place and only a period (.)

Hello,
we are a Germany based company and therefore are using a comma as the decimal place. (E.g.: 53,5% and not 53.5%)
In a form i want to check if there is really a number registered before applying it. When the Number Check is activated in the form, we can only enter whole numbers or numbers with a period as the decimal place (53.5%). Since our smartsheet region is set to Germany smartsheet then thinks this is a text and not a number anymore.
Our current solution is to not have a check at all, which leads to input errors.
How to solve this problem?

Have you checked your setting?
Not only do you need to check your windows settings for location & formats (trust me i know from USA date format the issues not doing this can cause).
Also check your settings in Smartsheet as you may be able to influence this there as well.
Otherwise please raise it as a Product Idea as, having lived in Spain for several years, I know many countries use a comma rather than a dot regarding decimals.

Hello Sue,
windows as well as smartsheet is set to region "Germany" on all devices on which the problem occurs.
"Otherwise please raise it as a Product Idea as, having lived in Spain for several years, I know many countries use a comma rather than a dot regarding decimals."
Yeah in fact nearly 2 billion people around the world use this system. Thats again very disappointing that smartsheet falls short of being conscientious in regards of completeness when it comes to those details.
I wont raise a product idea since it never changes a thing. Thank you for your time Sue.
