Weekly Reports - Best Practices or Tips?

We need to send weekly reports in one email that pull information from a few different reports. We have it all on one dashboard, but I don't know of a way to send dashboard summaries by email. And they don't want to go to Smartsheet to view it there - it's got to be in an email.

Ideally, they want the information in the body of an email instead of an Excel attachment. The only ways I've seen to send reports is through attachments, so I am not sure if there is a viable solution besides scheduling all of the reports to come to my email once per week and then manually extracting the data into a new email.

Does anyone have any recommendations on best practices or tips for this? I am not sure if I've found the optimal solution yet, so I wanted to ask how others would handle this.

This can be done using APIs, code, and things like Zapier and PowerAutomate if your teams have this (so a couple options and each one may have limitations on how exactly this goes into the email body)? Essentially, there is some extra work that has to be done.

For example, do you want to display the dashboard as a visual image in the outlook (assuming outlook) email or do you want to put the data and statistics in a specific email table format?

Thanks for the extra options, @StevenBlackburn - sounds like I've got the best solution I can ask for within Smartsheet's capabilities right now.

We'll talk with the team to see how they want to share this. We'll have a couple people who will need to prepare and submit these reports (including new hires), so we want to make sure the steps are easy enough for everyone to pick it up and run with it.

Hopefully I can convince them to share it as an image within Outlook and we can go from there. :)
