How can i create a data shuttle workflow to only offload new rows.

Options

I only want new rows to be offloaded. Is there a way to set up my data shuttle filter to only offload those rows that were entered since the previous workflow run?

Unsure of your DS setup, but perhaps this could help?

  • Sorry, i should have given more input. I am not offloading to a sheet, I am offloading to a .csv file on one drive. From there i will read the data into 3rd party SPC software. I only want newly entered rows to be offloaded each time for consumption by the SPC software.

    Hi @Daryl.Tracey,

I tested this on my end and found that there’s currently no way to set Data Shuttle workflows to offload only new rows.

You could add a Created Date column to your source sheet and then set a filter on the workflow to include rows where the Created Date is greater than the date of the last workflow run, and then adjust the filter each time the workflow runs. However, I understand that this is a lot of manual work and it would be great to have the option to automatically offload only new rows.

I found a similar idea post here: Datashuttle offload to unique file name or append to file. Please add your vote to this idea if it matches your request. You’ll then receive updates when the status of the idea changes!
