Refresh list of sheets to link to

I am creating lots of sheets that I need to link to master sheet. Each time I create a new one, when I go to the master sheet and click "link from cell in other sheet", the newest sheets are not showing in the list and there doesn't seem to be a way to refresh the list; instead, I have to refresh the whole page, which takes ages to load. Am I missing something? Is there a way to automatically see the newest sheets?

Hi @ACraig!

After testing, I can confirm this is currently the expected behavior. Even if you have two tabs open, one for your master sheet and another where you’re creating new sheets, you still need to refresh the tab with the master sheet in order for the newly created sheets to appear in the list of sheets available to reference.

It is a good idea to have an option to refresh the list of available sheets directly from the Link from Cell in Other Sheet dialog, without needing to reload the entire tab. For this, I recommend creating an Idea post in the Smartsheet Product Feedback and Ideas topic. That way, other users can vote on it and the product team can take it into consideration for future updates.
