Smartsheet forms (published) keep refreshing removing all data.

Hi, there might be a bug in Smartsheet.

Recently, I have received many complaints from people across the company, telling me that every time they try to fill out my published form, their browser keeps refreshing for some reason.

This has also been happening to me while I was providing some training; the form would refresh after a few minutes, not allowing people to complete the form and causing frustration.

Someone from my company just reached out to me with a similar issue. Still trying to get more info and test it but my first stop was finding out if anyone else was experiencing the same thing

Is it possible that these forms are surfaced in a Dashboard that has Auto-Refresh set to every 10 minutes?

The engineering team is currently looking into ways to allow forms to stay populated during these Dashboard refreshes, however in the meantime you can either:

Increase the Dashboard Refresh time
or provide the direct URL to the form to fill out in a new tab

Dashboards have been updated so the 10 Minute refresh should not impact your Forms being housed in them. Please check again today!

If the issue persists, please contact Support with a screen recording of what you're seeing, the Form URL, and how the users are accessing the Form.

I didn't even realize that was a setting on dashboards. Was this a fairly recent update? I have let them know of the setting and I am happy to see that you can actually turn it off. I will follow up with support if it still persists.
