report rows limit with many groups filters

i created a report with multiple source sheets, some columns and filtres and 3 groups. the report reach around 1600 rows but is incomplet. one of the filtres is for showing data in the next 14 days but the report do not show some dates. i need to decrease the number of dates in the filter. but i am far from the 2500 rows.

i tested by removing one group (keep the first 2 groups) and now the report can reach 1900 rows and is now complet.

why with 3 groups the report can't show all the data but with 2 groups it is possible?

Based on your description, it sounds like the issue may be related to how grouping interacts with filters in your report, especially when multiple groups are applied.

To better understand what’s happening, could you please share:

A screenshot of your report setup showing the filters and groupings
An example of the missing rows (actual vs expected behavior)

A couple of things to check in the meantime:

Make sure all of the dates in your source sheets are stored in date type columns. If any are text values, the “next 14 days” filter will not recognize them correctly.
You cannot use Dropdown (Multi-Select), Contact List, or any column type that allows multiple selections as grouping criteria. Reference: Group data to organize results in report builder.
When working with complex filters, add and remove conditions one at a time, refreshing the report between changes to confirm the results. If you’re seeing more results than expected, try changing your OR operator to AND. If you’re seeing fewer results than expected, try changing AND to OR. Reference: Create filter criteria in Report Builder.

With the screenshots and more details, it’ll be easier for us and other Community members to test on our side and help troubleshoot.

all source sheets are copies from same master so all column type are the same (date type). the filters used are not multi-select dropdown.

with 3 groups:

my report stop here:

the "blank" group stop at the 10-sep but all others go to the 21-sep. And it stop at 1614 rows

if i remove the third group filter:

the report continue to row 1751 and the "blank" group go to 21-sep

and the 10-sep have more rows too.

so with only 2 groups, the report can show 137 rows more than with 3 groups and those 137 rows correspond to the end of the report
