Request for Update Report (or something like it)

Hi there! I'm hoping this group can help.

I'm building out program/project management & tracking at my company. We have 8 grids (one for each dept) that funnel into multiple reports and dashboards. Within each grid/sheet, there are multiple projects that have CHILDREN project plans nested underneath. We want project owners to provide weekly updates that showcase risks, issues, decisions needed, or blockers. I'm not able to pull a report for request for update and am looking for another solution.

Again - hoping for a way to automate top-level project updates without additional columns for every week's update. Thank you!

Hi,

I hope you're well and safe!

Here are a couple of options.

1️⃣ Automated Update Requests for each project/department

2️⃣ A separate sheet, and you could combine it with the Update Request or a Form, or fill out the sheet weekly, and it can be connected to the project/ department sheet(s).

Make sense?

Thank you for your response @Andrée Starå! I hope you're well too. I appreciate your response. Is there a way for there to be a request for update report? Or something similar? I want to get updates on specific line items that can easily be pulled into a report (that is not within the sheet itself).
